What are some of your favorite classical pieces of music?
One of my favorites is Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata.

I love Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata! Thanks for posting this. I really enjoy so many classical pieces. I play classical guitar and have too many favorites to name.

Beethoven and Mozart to me are the best classical composers.
You might enjoy these… I listen to them when I am writing.

I’m a big fan of Erik Satie’s piano works, particularly his Gnossiennes. Wonderful use of harmony. Not too hard to play, but really remarkable to hear.

It’s also amazing how different these can sound in the hands of different pianists just by varying the tempo and dynamics.

    ^ Really good one! :D

I love the relaxing melodies. It actually reminds me of old cartoons.. Which is either a good thing or a bad thing. haha

Moonlight Sonata is amazing. I learned the first movement on classical guitar. Such a masterpiece!

I like Air on the G-String by Bach and Ode to Joy by Beethoven. I’m also planning on looking into Mozart, and Eric Whitacre’s Sleep is good too and one of my Band teacher’s favorites.

@v3jimenez: That is my favorite classical piece as well. Timeless! It’s also frequently used in weddings. I never tire of hearing it.

That one is very beautiful. It has been awhile since I heard it. I love the emotion behind it.
